LOOP KIDS IS NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

A Note About Our Closure.

The Last six years of owning Loop have brought me great joy. With the support of this community Loop has been a successful, flourishing business. This closure is 100% my choice and about what our family wants at this time. I owned and chose to sell the building, knowing this would likely lead to closing the business. Our eldest child graduated and moved out this summer. As a family we began looking at what was important to us in the next couple of years. The possibility of selling Loop came up. Then the Town of Okotoks announced a major construction project for the downtown area of Okotoks, beginning next spring. After attending open houses and asking questions we decided we needed to sell the building now, or commit to continuing on for another 5 years. Having run Loop and successfully come out the other side of COVID, I know that my full time presence at Loop would be required to “survive” 2-3 years of construction. There would also be time needed to recover on the other side. We were not willing for me to give up another 5 years of Saturdays and summers, away from our kids and their lives, to continue to run Loop. And so our decision was made. I want to close the doors on this little community we call Loop with a heart filled with gratitude and wonderful memories. Owning Loop had changed me in ways I couldn’t imagine. I am very excited for the doors that will open for myself and our family because of this decision. Please come in and see us (Krystal and Chrissy) over the next couple of weeks, shop, say bye, let us thank you for your support over the last 6 years!
